Went for family get together. 10 of us, at 5. Wasn't busy. Had 2 servers and was horrible. Servers never came back unless I got up from the table to get manager who hung around fire place, 3 times. Worst service ever, food was good.
usually we absolutely love this place. However Saturday night the chicken and dumplings they should have just told us it was dumplings neither one of us had more than one piece of chicken in it when I made mention of it at the checkout counter the lady with white hair that was cashing people outside it gets that way when we're busy. Sorry! Neither of those answers left me feeling like I was a valued customer. the four stars is due to in the past we've generally always been happy with not only the food but the hospitality here. On the bright side hours young lady server was absolutely fabulous.
Love Cracker Barrel. We can only go there on vacation because we don't have one close. They let us order from children's menu because we don't eat so much and it all is great. Reminds me of home in the south.
Food was great. Our server left something to be desired. They weren't busy but took till almost done with food to get a refill. Otherwise great.
Had a great "breakfast all day long" Country Boy breakfast for dinner. They're not kidding when they tell you to loosen your belt, because it came with everything except the kitchen sink. Three eggs over hard, a big juicy steak, biscuits and gravy, grits and last but not least fried apples. Everything was done perfectly while the service was fast and friendly.
