It was a neat place. Beautifully dcoratex for Chriztmas. An Excellent food!
Had another great meal at The Blue Dog! Usually have the Dog's Club sandwich but went with the Philly Steak sandwich instead. The thinly sliced ribeye steak was flavorful and not fatty or gristly. The grilled onions were perfect! Could have used a little more cheese, though. Side dish this week was cranberry salad. My husband had his favorite, Ruben, which is pulled high with corned beef on marbled rye bread! I love everything here!
Stopped there while traveling. Nice change of pace from chain restaurants. Friendly staff. Reasonable cost. Nice atmosphere. Not to far of I-44.
Great selection of food and drinks. Blue Dog has casual atmosphere, friendly waitress and cold beer (plus many noon-alcoholic drinks). Whether it's a quick snack you need or a full meal, this is the place.
This was a great place to get a bite after a long day on the road. The food was good & the beer cold. We got there late after a long day of driving and it was a good choice. The staff was busy but we stayed until almost close. That gave us the opportunity to get a brief history lesson. The bar was still original as well as the tin ceiling from the late 1800's. It was a cool experience and we would return if given the opportunity.
