We couldn't have been happier with them - great price, good work, nice guys.
They installed an HVAC unit in my moms house. The pipes were hung up with wire and tied with a square knot. They didn't level the AC unit outside. They said they couldn't find any dirt. This house is in the country last time I checked the house is on dirt. I am guessing removing dirt was out of the question. When they returned to make things "right" they called my Mom a liar and that she was to hard to work for. My brother bought some pipe hangers at Menards. They said they couldn't get things like that. Their tin work was horrible. The corners look like they were bent with a couple of 2x4's. The tin they installed must have had holes in it, because they installed a couple of patches. They said we were demanding a professional job on items that wasn't professionally installed to start with. I will call BS on this. The unprofessional part the guy was having issues with was duct tape on the duct joints. I can not recommend this company to anyone. I am in maintenance and I deal with HVAC contractors on a regular basis. I can't wait to see the rebuttal. If interested I have pictures upon request.
as for the person that moved 8 years ago had tarter bros inc do work and not happy sorry for her problems however no one should work in vermin ridden basement. the furnace after 1 year was full of live mice a plugged vent and water heater full of mice we never replaced coli as the ins co would not cover more than mim to replace outdoor unit as for furnace we did what the weather program told us to do she had could pay for upgrades but refused. as for nobody will work on it 3 other contractors? well there is still a vermin problem she will not deal with. we plumbed a bathroom for her cut price in half she was to pay 25.00 mo over 2 years still not a payment after giving many helping hands she wants more hand outs
We moved to Lincoln around 8 years ago it's a great little area most of the time well 3 years ago we had gotten a new air conditioning system and heating system installed from tartar brothers since this time this system has caused us nothing but headaches and money to fix it and barely keep it running i would not recommend tartar brothers to are worst enemy at one time one of Mr tartars worker's left a chest freezer in the basement unplugged which had meat and medicine in it no apologies where given or them even admitting they had done wrong now we can't find any one who wants to do the warranty work because they did such a chop shop job the other companies words not ares right now the evaporator coil needs replaced because at the time it was put in it was cut down to fit now it has a hole in it all around poor work
