went into the new Lincoln Illinois McDonald grand opening for lunch on Monday August 21, 2017. The new facility is very nice inside and out. The staff was very nice and helpful, before i even finished filling my drink my food was at my table. I will return back to this location
The amount if complaints actually increased from the other visits and the brand new men's room had been unattended to for what had to be quite a while for it to be in the filthy state that I think was. It was a disaster.
I noticed the new McDonald's had a touch screen to order your food. The screen was covered with visible dirty finger prints. A complete germ fest! I could not bring myself to touch it. I will not eat there.
Drive through took 30 minutes to get food, and they still messed up the order.
Update: To be fair, I returned to this McDonald's 2 more times and experienced/observed the following.
Service was quick and easy! Food was brought out to me before I was even done getting my drink. It's a very cool, modern addition to Lincoln!
I have awarded this McDonald's the 2 stars for its attractive appearance and decor. There were quite a few customers including myself that waited a very, very long time for our orders without a word being said. Even at McDonald's the wait we experienced was unacceptable.
